MiSide has no Mac version: the Steam store lists only Windows for it as of 7 October 2026. In Uncork it plays without tweaks. In the game itself it holds a steady 120 fps: V-Sync is on and the game sits at the 120 Hz refresh rate of the display, so the Mac has headroom.
What the game is
MiSide is a short story game with horror inside. It starts as a familiar tale about playing a game on a computer and then goes somewhere you do not expect. We say nothing about the plot: it is best played without spoilers.
For a game like this the Mac question is a single one: does it run or not. The answer: it runs, and it runs smoothly. 120 fps with no drops, and the display cannot show more.
Does MiSide have a Mac version
We checked the Steam store (7 October 2026): the game lists only the Windows platform, with no macOS. On an Apple Silicon Mac it can only run through a compatibility layer, which is what Uncork does.
What we tested
The game was checked in September 2026 (the menu measurement on 23 September), the in-game frame rate on 7 October 2026, on the reference machine: MacBook Pro 14″ (Mac15,6), Apple M3 Pro, 14-core GPU, 18 GB.

We recorded only the month of the gameplay session, not the exact date. Which graphics path was used is not stated in the record.
How to run it
- Download Uncork from the main page — you do not need to sign in on the site, and running games is free with no account.
- Install Uncork: the app builds a bottle with the Windows version of Steam inside.
- Sign in to Steam yourself and install the game like any other. Your password and Steam Guard code are entered only in Steam's own window.
- Press “Play” on the game's card.
The record shows no tweaks for MiSide: the game ran without them.

Is there a MiSide for Mac?
Steam lists only Windows for the game as of 7 October 2026. Through Uncork it plays without tweaks on our M3 Pro.
How many fps does MiSide get on an M3 Pro?
A steady 120 in game with V-Sync on: that is the ceiling of the 120 Hz display, and the game sits on it. We did not measure without V-Sync. Earlier we saw about 115 in the main menu.
What about the audio?
We did not measure it. If sound crackles in any game, Uncork has a “Compatible sound” mode, but we have not tested it on MiSide.
Do I need Uncork Pro?
No, running games is free. We have not tested Pro features in this game.
