Which games we have tested on a Mac

Updated 29 September 2026 · Uncork version 0.16.2

This is not a compatibility database. It is a list of what we have run ourselves. Every row is a game we saw on the screen, on a named machine; settings are named where we recorded them. What we have not tested is not here: a game missing from the list means “we don't know”, not “it doesn't work”.

How to read the list

All measurements come from one machine: a MacBook Pro 14″ (Mac15,6), Apple M3 Pro, 14-core GPU, 18 GB of memory, macOS 26. On another Mac, in another scene and with other settings the numbers will differ. We give only figures we saw ourselves; where there is no measurement, it says so.

Four statuses:

Games

GameStatusWhat we knowWhen and where
Counter-Strike 2measured100–120 fps on Dust II with D3DMetal (on mains power); the upper 120 is fps_max 120 in the config, not the limit of the Mac. Separately, for the “Even frames” mode (meant for single-player games; CS2 is only a test bench here): at 80 fps 87% of on-screen intervals are within 1 ms of the mean, against 18% without the mode at 118 fps, on battery, one run each. In detail: CS2 on a Mac.100–120 fps on 13 September 2026; evenness on 23 September 2026; MacBook Pro 14″ M3 Pro
BeamNG.drivemeasured100–110 fps on the Hirochi map at medium-high settings; we have no recording of the run and no resolution noted. Heavy maps are limited by the GPU. In detail: BeamNG.drive on a Mac.September 2026, MacBook Pro 14″ M3 Pro
Assetto Corsaruns, one measurementAbout 34 fps: 1512×982 window, high settings without Extra FX, Custom Shaders Patch 0.3, Pure, rain and Shutoko Revival Project traffic through DXMT; a single measurement with no repeats, and not measured with Extra FX on. A Logitech G923 wheel (PlayStation and PC version) with force feedback is tested. In detail: Assetto Corsa on a Mac.27 September 2026, MacBook Pro 14″ M3 Pro
MiSiderunsPlays without tweaks. About 115 fps in the main menu (a pacing measurement, not gameplay); in-game frame rate and audio not measured.September 2026 (menu on 23 September), MacBook Pro 14″ M3 Pro
Tiny BunnyrunsA visual novel on Ren'Py. Frame rate not measured. If you hear crackle, “Compatible sound” helps.12 September 2026, MacBook Pro 14″ M3 Pro
Valorant, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Destiny 2, PUBG, Rainbow Six Siege, recent Call of Duty titleswill not runThe anti-cheat is a driver in the Windows kernel. In detail: anti-cheat games on a Mac.by how the protection works, not by a measurement

Stores

Games are bought and installed in the store itself; Uncork installs the store and shows the games in one library.

StoreStatusWhat we checked
SteamtestedInstalls, signs in, installs and launches games. We play on it ourselves.
Epic Games StoretestedInstalls, signs in, installs games. We tested the store itself, not its whole catalogue.
Ubisoft Connect, EA app, Battle.net, GOG Galaxy, Rockstar Gamesnot testedOffered when you create a bottle, marked “not tested”: the installer is available, but we have not looked at how it behaves under the engine.

What is missing on purpose

We do not copy other people's compatibility reports and we do not infer a game's status “by analogy”. Red Dead Redemption, GTA V, Cyberpunk, Helldivers 2 and other popular games will not appear on the list until we have run them ourselves and written down the machine, the settings and the result. That keeps the list shorter than databases built from other people's reports, but every row in it is something a person saw.

A machine-readable copy of this table is in games.json.

If your game is not on the list

It will most likely start: a compatibility layer can do a lot, and most games without a kernel-level anti-cheat run. But we will not promise it. The three free days exist precisely to check your own game, and the result is useful to us: if you write to hello@uncork.win which game ran, on which Mac and at what frame rate, it goes on the list once we reproduce it ourselves.
